Although Easter Sunday has passed, the celebration continues as we reflect on renewal, kindness, and the message of Christ’s love that guides our learning and our school community each day. Wishing all of our families a blessed and joyful Easter season!
Students are invited to join us for green and jeans day tomorrow, Friday March 13th. If students choose not to participate they are required to wear their uniform.
The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is celebrated annually on February 11th, commemorating the first of 18 appearances of the Blessed Virgin Mary to 14-year-old Bernadette Soubirous in 1858 in Lourdes, France. It is a major Catholic feast day associated with healing, prayer, and the "miraculous spring". It is also recognized as the World Day of the Sick.
The CISND Community and Roman Catholic Diocese of Nelson offer our sincere prayers to the families and all who have been affected by yesterday’s tragic events in Tumbler Ridge.
In this time of sorrow, we hold those who grieve in our prayers. We ask the Lord to draw near, to strengthen families, to guide community leaders with wisdom, and to bring comfort to all who mourn. May God grant peace in the days ahead.

OLOL achieved an impressive Overall Rating of 9.4/10, placing us #45 out of 1,015 schools across British Columbia. The highest ranking of all Okanagan-area schools included in the report.
This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, the partnership of our families, and the hard work of our students. We are grateful for our community and will continue striving for excellence in Catholic education.
