This is the time of year when many families in West Kelowna are quietly making a big decision: where their child will go to school in September.
Most of them are talking about it at the kitchen table, with neighbours at hockey practice, or with friends from church or playgroup. And many of them have no idea OLOL exists or that we welcome families of all faiths.
We're asking for your help.
Starting this week, we're launching a Parent Referral Program. Here's how it works:
For every new family you refer who enrolls (and stays the whole year) at OLOL for the 2026/27 school year, your family receives ONE MONTH OF FREE TUITION , applied to your next year's account. No cap. Refer three families, get three months free.
HOW TO REFER
1. Forward this email to a friend, family member, or neighbour with a short note: "I thought you might be interested in our kids' school."
2. Or send them straight to our open house: olol-bc.com/tour (Saturday, June 13, 11 AM to 1 PM)
3. Or send them to our tour page Tours | OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. When they book a tour, they'll be asked who referred them. That's it. We'll handle the rest.
WHY WE'RE ASKING
This community is the strongest thing we have. The families who walk through our doors and stay tend to find us through other families not through ads or mailers. Your word carries weight that ours never will.
We're hoping to welcome about 20 new families this fall. If even five of them come from referrals, that's five children whose parents trusted yours enough to listen.
A FEW DETAILS
• Must be new families to OLOL only (not current families switching grades)
• Referral must complete enrollment by August 31, 2026
• Credit applied to your tuition account at the end of the 2026/2027 school year
• You'll receive a confirmation when your referral books their tour
